School orientation
It was great seeing you at the orientation last night. If you missed it, please connect with your teacher to receive the information about your child’s class.
In this newsletter, you will see some announcements that were shared at the orientation.
Enhanced Parent Communication
The Enhanced Parent Communication feature on Teacher Ease gives the option to receive notifications through text message as well as email. This feature needs to be set up by the Teacher Ease account holder. Please follow these instructions to set up your communication preferences. We use Teacher Ease notifications to communicate alerts, such as current announcements and school closings and late starts due to inclement weather. We are not subscribing to Flash Alert this year and instead are using Enhanced Parent Communication.
Parent safety video
Safety videos are available for parents. A separate email will be sent with instructions on how to access the videos for Child Abuse and Concussion Safety.
Your participation in watching these videos will help make TVA a safer place to work and learn.
New uniform survey
Please take this new survey, even if you did the survey last spring or summer. Thank you!
Home & School Association
Nut Free
There are students with an allergy to nuts in several classrooms. We are asking that students not bring food with nuts until find a better solution. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

These locations are the pick up areas for the following grades:
1st - 8th Grades - in the back of the school
Kindergarten - under the covered area in the front of the school
Preschool - in the preschool classroom
High School - in the front entrance of the school
Please follow these procedures for picking up your child.
The main entrance and lobby will only be available to parents who need to go to the office or have an appointment. Please do not pick up your student in the lobby, unless you have notified the teacher of a prior appointment that your child needs to leave early for school that day. This will help minimize traffic in the lobby and help keep our school a safe place. Thank you for understanding.
