Application Instructions

Applying is easy using our online application. Applying online simplifies the application submission process and gives parents a tool for tracking the status of their admission online after their application has been submitted.

Create an Online Application:

To begin the online application process:
1. Click the Apply Here button to the left.
2. Follow the instructions to create an account and start your new student application. You will have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application as needed.
3. Be prepared to submit a copy of the student’s birth certificate, immunization records, and grade report or progress report. Documents must be submitted before being admitted.
4. New students entering Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades will need to set up an evaluation with the teacher. New students entering grades 3rd-8th must submit a recommendation letter.
5. A non-refundable fee of $75 by March 18, $100 from March 19th to May 1st, or $150 after May 2nd, must be submitted with each application.

After submitting the application, you will be able to track online your admissions status at the school by logging into your account. There you will be able to print the completed applications, monitor when the school receives supplemental application forms and, if necessary, reprint the supplemental forms.

Forms to Download

The Home Language Survey form assists us in obtaining data required by our local school district in order to supply student services and tutoring support.

The Student Services Survey assists us to determine what services students might be eligible for.

The Physical Examination Form is required for ALL new students and those entering Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 9th grade.

The Student Medication form is required for students who need to receive medications while in school.

4th - 12th Grade: 8:15 am - 3:15 pm

Preschool Full Day - 3rd Grade: 8:15 am - 12:45 pm

Preschool Half Day: 8:15 am - 11:50 am

4th - 12th Grade: 8:15 am - 1:00 pm

FINANCIAL INFORMATION

Registration Fee

A non-refundable fee of $75 by March 18, $100 from March 19th to May 1st, or $150 after May 2nd, must be submitted with each application.

Billing Cycle

  • Entrance fees and tuition are combined into a yearly tuition amount.

  • The yearly tuition amount can be divided over 12 months (July - June) or 10 months (August-May).

  • Families choosing a 12-month billing cycle must complete registration by June 1st. 12 month billing cycles are not available for Preschool.

  • First billing date for 12-month billing plan is July 1st.

  • First billing date for 10-month billing plan is August 1st.

Billing Information

  • Bills are sent at the beginning of the month and payment is due by the 20th of the month.

  • A late fee may be charged if payment is not received by the 30th of the month.

  • We accept cash, checks, money orders, and Auto ACH Debit payments only. No credit cards accepted.

Preschool

Please make your August tuition payment no later than August 1st to hold your spot.

BASE Charges (The rates below are subject to change for the current school year)

BASE (Before and After School Experience) is Tualatin Valley Academy’s before and after child care.

  • Cost is $5.25 per hour

  • Any portion of the first hour is billed as an hour.

Lunch Charges (The rates below are subject to change for the current school year)

Hot lunch is offered for students wishing to purchase lunch. Hot lunch charges are applied to each student’s school bill. Please do not send cash to pay for lunch.

Cost: $6.00 per meal.

$60 for a Hot Lunch Punch Card good for 10 meals.
