PRINCIPAL CHAT TONIGHT
The first Principal’s Chat is tonight at 6:00PM through Zoom. Mrs. Orozco-Acosta plans on having several Principal’s Chats throughout the school year to discuss important topics. This is a time to gather together to learn about and discuss important things happening at TVA.. The topic will be Standards Based curriculum and reporting. The report card this year is different than the one used in previous years. This Principal’s Chat is an opportunity to learn more about the standards based curriculum and report card and ask any questions you may have. The Zoom link will be sent to you next week. We hope to see you tonight!
La primera charla con la Sra. Orozco-Acosta sera esta noche, a las 6:00PM a través de Zoom. La Sra. Orozco-Acosta planea tener varias charlas durante el año escolar para hablar acerca de temas importantes. Este es un momento para reunirse para aprender y tener una conversación acerca de cosas importantes que suceden en TVA.. El tema será el currículo e informes basados en estándares. La boleta de calificaciones de este año es diferente a la utilizada en años anteriores. Esta charla con el director es una oportunidad para aprender más sobre el plan de estudios basado en estándares y la boleta de calificaciones y hacer cualquier pregunta que pueda tener. HOME & SCHOOL MEETING TONIGHT
Please join us for our H & S meeting tonight at 7pm right after the principal’ chat meeting. The zoom link will be the same for both meetings. Look for link in the Thursday Note email.
CROSSING GUARD VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our parking lot can get pretty busy in the mornings during drop off! We are needing parent volunteers to help direct traffic and keep the car flow going.
PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES COMING SOON
We will be having Parent/Teacher Conferences on November 16 & 17. There will be no school on these days. Each teacher will be sending a sign up with times slots to choose from. Teachers will be handing out report cards and MAP test scores during conferences. Also, there will be no school on Friday, November 18th and the following week will be our Thanksgiving break (November 21-25)

Looking for a family photo for your Christmas card? Sign up for an appointment at our Christmas Photo Mini Session!
Michael Blackburn takes most of the photos on our website and social media. If you like his photography, you’re in luck. He is offering a one-day series of mini sessions at an unbelievable price and 100% of the funds raised go to benefit our handbell choirs. Appointments are first come, first served.
Happening Now: Citrus Sale November 1-14
Ready for farm-fresh, delicious citrus?
We will be having our citrus sale from November 1-14, with delivery the week of December 12. Funds raised support High School scholarships and trips.
Students will have paper order forms or you can order online. There are prizes for students and classes who sell the most fruit!
This fruit is California-grown and shipped directly to us to ensure it is as fresh as possible. Last year’s was delicious. Help us help kids while enjoying a healthy treat!
In case you missed it: Reporting Absences
Please make sure to call the office or email to report any absences. If student will be absent for more than 2 days due to a vacation or any other circumstance, please make sure to fill out the Student Extended Absences form.
