School Wish List

Behind every successful school is an amazing team of volunteers.

Our TVA Family of volunteers makes all the difference at our school. They support our teachers, staff, and students.

We can always use more hands to help us help students. Below is a list of tasks we could use help with as well as a list of items we would love to have donated or have financial assistance to purchase. If you can help, please email tva@tualatinvalleyacademy.org or call 503.649.5518.

Wishlist Tasks

  • Teacher prep work - cutting things out, making copies, etc.

  • Grading papers

  • Taking down and putting up bulletin board displays

  • Reading with students

  • Scheduling 7th and 8th grade and High School students with the Oregon Food Bank for service opportunities

  • Power washing asphalt and concrete on the track, courtyard, and playground

  • Bird blind - clearing the path, clearing the area around the bird blind, and small repairs to the bird blind itself

  • General yard maintenance tasks

  • Decluttering and moving items to a dumpster

  • Interior painting

  • Exterior painting

  • Interior window cleaning

Wishlist Items

  • 12 passenger van - at least one but up to 3, for field trips and athletics

  • A cooking closet for 7th and 8th Grade’s life skills elective

  • Bathroom renovations - donation of skills, supplies, or funds

  • New or used iPads for First and Second Grade to use to code robots

  • Large conference table for High School Technology Studio

  • Funds toward 8 high-powered desktop computers for High School Technology Studio

  • Elegoo Saturn 2 Resin 3D Printer with 10” 8k Mono LCD for High School Technology Studio

  • 12 GTX 1660 or better graphics cards for High School Technology Studio

  • One GoPro camera per classroom to capture photos and video of classroom activities and field trips

  • Canon SLR lenses for Yearbook and High School Technology Studio

  • Large retractable projector screen for gym for weekly chapel and graduation - contact for more details

  • Projector capable of projecting from the gym balcony to the screen at the stage

  • New covers for the handbell table pads (20) - will require sewing or an upholstery shop to create
