LEGO Robotics

We are gearing up for a second year of Lego Robotics at TVA! Lego Robotics will being in November and run for 12 weeks. The first half will be completed before Christmas, and the second half before Open House in the spring.

This year’s theme is “Boomtown Build: The Force Arises”. Here is a video:

There are two sections for Lego Robotics:

  • First Lego League Junior (ages 6-10)

  • First Lego League (ages 9-14)

Students whose ages overlap both groups can choose which one they would like to participate in. Classes meet Mondays or Fridays for one hour after school each week. Class size is 6 students.

Tentative Schedule:

Mondays: November 11, 18, 25, December 2, 9, 16, January 6, 27*, February 3, 10, 24, March 2

Fridays: November 8, 15, 22, December 6, 13, January 10, 17, 24, 31, February 7, 14, 21

*Monday, January 27 is a minimum day, but if there is interest the class will meet right after school.

Cost:

$20 for First Lego League Junior or $40 for First Lego League
